@amends-dev/log

Typed append-only logs over host storage: positions, commits that span logs, idempotent appends, paged reads, and live tails, with a memory implementation and the suites every adapter runs.

Each module’s page lists its exports by category, with their signatures and examples. The guide shows how the parts fit together.

  • Codec: How log values become stored bytes and back.
  • Commit: A commit.
  • Entry: Where a log entry is and what recorded it.
  • Log: Typed, append-only logs over host storage.
  • MemoryStore: Store in process memory, the reference implementation of the storage contract.
  • Store: The storage contract for logs, which every storage adapter implements for one space of logs.
  • StoreError: How every storage contract fails.
  • StoreInput: What every store checks of its input before its driver sees it.
  • Transaction: The commit coordinator.
  • conformance/Fixture: What a storage adapter gives the conformance suites.
  • conformance: The test suites every storage adapter runs against itself, so that Log works the same over each.
